Marlborough Arts Center Announces the 2012 Membership Drive
Our 2012 membership drive is on! And, we hope that you will agree that you enjoy being part of the Art Center. Your membership support
plays a critical role in sustaining us as we present the arts, in all their forms, to the communities that surround us.
Membership dues provide the majority of our annual funding.
As a member you will receive many benefits, including discounts on class tuitions, discounts on gift shop purchases, announcements of
upcoming events and invitations to “member only” events. If you are an artist, you will be invited to participate in our Artist Member show
each autumn, as well as sell your creations in our gift shop.
In 2010 & 2011 the Arts Center proudly presented the Festival of Wreaths, the Brownstone Arts exhibit, a wonderful student art exhibit featuring work
from six area schools, the Fifth Annual Art Fest featuring over 40 artists, the “Walk Through the Garden” exhibit as well as garden tour. We offered
over 50 classes for both children and adults. We again are celebrating the season with the Festival of Wreaths which includes not only an exhibit
and sale but also numerous musical, dance and other performances geared at all age groups. Our Fourth Friday @ the Art Café has been a
new popular event. We offer varied entertainment each month for admission of five dollars. Join us in our annual membership drive and help the Art Center
and its many volunteers to continue to bring the Arts to the area.
In the upcoming year we have many exciting things planned.
The annual student art exhibit is always held in March, and looking further ahead our ArtFest
on the Green in May and our 2012
Artist Member Show in the fall.
