About the Class

This class will present compositional design and color theory as outlined in the four areas of mastery in painting. Feel free to create paintings with your favorite water-based medium. We will explore abstraction in a variety of painting styles, complete exercises and create unique work for FUN! Learn to appreciate how abstraction can add to your painting experience.

We will create informed abstract paintings to honor the formal Art Elements and Principles of Design. Critiques and examples of abstract painting will be discussed and created. The goals of this class are;
